My Deep Hope: My Deep Hope for my students is to empower them to identify their peculiar, God-given gifts, and invite them into exploring how they can use those gifts for Kingdom work in God's Story.
I was born in northern Alberta and raised in Lethbridge. I attended Lethbridge Christian School from grades 4-8 and then graduated from Winston Churchill High School. I received my BA/BEd from the University of Lethbridge in 2016, went for a year of Biblical students at Briercrest College and started teaching elementary in 2017 at Lakeview Elementary School. I have been a Grade 4 teacher at ICES since 2018.
I've been married to my beautiful wife Emily since 2018 and we welcomed our first child, Jesse "JJ", last August. We're also expecting our second in February which we are incredibly excited for. When I'm not teaching I can usually be found playing/coaching basketball with my wife, going for runs, creating playlists, golfing, watching Star Wars or reading.
I'm so grateful to God for the opportunity to teach at a Christian school. It has been a blessing to be apart of so many students' faith journeys and to see the many different ways God works in their lives. I'm looking forward to another year of teaching at ICES and seeing what God has in store for our staff, students, and community.
