My Deep Hope: My Deep Hope is that the staff and students of ICES will know they are valued, understand their purpose in God's Story, and thrive as they live, learn and serve with one another.
I grew up on a mixed farm in northern Saskatchewan. After high school, I attended Briercrest College where I received a Bachelor of Religious Education, majoring in Christian Education. I then moved to Lethbridge to begin my university studies, completing my Bachelor of Arts (Music) and Bachelor of Education prior to entering the teaching profession. Later, I returned to the University of Lethbridge where I completed my Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
2023-24 school year marks my 25th year at ICES. I taught Grade 2 and Grade 4 for several years, then moved into the role of Vice Principal and Learning Support Teacher for five years. This is my fourth year serving our school as Principal. I am honoured and humbled to serve our community in this role and look forward to working together.
