ICES principal Jay Visser appointed principal of Taber Christian High School

Immanuel Christian Elementary School principal Jay Visser has been appointed principal of Taber Christian High School, commencing the 2020/2021 school year.
Horizon School Division, in partnership with the Taber Society for Christian Education, will be starting a Christian High School within Taber for the next school year, and Visser will be the school’s first principal.
Visser brings with him several years of education along with teaching and administrative experience. His educational journey began in Iowa where he graduated from Dordt University and went on to teach English in Japan for three years.
In 2006, Visser graduated from Kings University with a B Ed. Degree and went on to teach for another five years before being appointed the principal for Immanuel Christian Elementary School (ICES) in 2011, the same year he completed his Master of Education Degree.
It was during his time as principal at ICES that the school became part of Lethbridge School Division.
